Hello, Iā€™m Michael Rosen

I know from listening to people across Mid Norfolk over recent years, that we all have great hopes and ambition - for ourselves, our families and loved ones, Mid Norfolk, and to see our nation be the strong country we have been, and can be again, with a Labour government to serve us.

I am asking for your vote in the General Election, to stand up for you and for Mid Norfolk, to make sure we all get the chance to live well, with secure jobs and homes, in a growing, green economy that sustains the public services we need and puts money in our pocket.

The United Kingdom needs to be properly protected, with our armed forces and uniformed services given the resources they need to to do the job and the respect they deserve for doing it. Everyone in Mid Norfolk deserves better on crime. Like many people, I want to see more police officers dedicated to our area, quicker response times to isolated rural residents, safer streets and public spaces, a crackdown on anti-social behaviour, and effective action on the fraud, online scams, and organized crime that are affecting us all.

All of us should be protected from the consequences of our broken public services. Our NHS with its shortage of GPs and Dentists, our local hospitals literally crumbling, cuts to social care leaving our elders and people with disabilities living without support beyond what exhausted families can provide. We should all be able to live healthily and well, enjoying work and leisure, contributing to our economy and getting our share of prosperity in return.

Above all if you choose to elect me as your MP, my number one priority will be to give you back the trust and confidence you should be able to have in your elected politicians. I will be a full time MP, and being your MP will be my only job. I will have a local office and hold regular surgeries across the constituency.

I hope we get the chance to talk in person. I will be out on the doorstep, attending town and parish council meetings, and I will do my best to respond quickly if you choose to contact me directly via mrlabouruk@gmail.com
